Fiona Chautard recommends five marketplaces:

 

1. Premiere Vision

The leading trade fair and international exhibition for fashion professionals, showcasing the latest textiles, fashion and colour directions for the industry. Includes Premiere Vision Designs, the international trade fair to sell and purchase print and surface designs.    

2. Scotland Re:Designed 

A platform which promotes and showcases a curated selection of Scottish-based fashion and textile designers to an international and domestic consumer and trade audience.

3. Wolf and Badger

A retail platform which promotes emerging independent fashion, jewellery, accessories and interior design brands from the UK and beyond. They have an online shop and stores in London including Mayfair and Notting Hill. Designers pay a ‘rental fee’ to be included in their designer selection.

4. Scoop International

A premium women’s apparel and accessories tradeshow, focused on showcasing emerging and established directional designers. Exhibitors are curated by founder Karen Radley, with an emphasis on the directional, talented and unique. 

5. Wear Eponymous

An independent online platform showcasing emerging fashion and lifestyle brands and designers, based in Glasgow.
