After leading Wasps Artists’ Studios for 23 years, I’m now Project Director for NVA’s Kilmahew / St Peter’s project which will re-imagine Gillespie Kidd Coia’s modernist masterpiece at Cardross. I also recently established a consultancy company to provide advice and support to cultural and third sector organisations.
I’ve been involved in a lot of other creative and social enterprises over the years, ranging from helping to establish the Scottish Artists Union to distributing grants and loan funding as panel chair for the Scottish Investment Fund.
My role within CEO is to provide leadership during a time of change, help the board and management team create a new business plan for the next 5-10 years, and support a great staff team. Having created the multi-award-winning South Block, I’m delighted to find myself working in it and bumping into lots of creative colleagues.
