Social Investment Scotland (SIS) is thrilled to be working in partnership with the Cultural Enterprise Office (CEO). With two of our Investment Managers, Joanne and Derek, both based in Glasgow, it was a natural decision to take advantage of CEO’s hot-desking offer to provide a base for them to operate across the city and West of Scotland. All the more so as we share core values around integrity, entrepreneurship and finding creative, tailored solutions to help organisations be the most successful and impactful they can be.
SIS provides loan finance to charities, social enterprises and community enterprises from a variety of sectors including the Creative Industries. Our purpose is to provide the finance that helps our customers build a sustainable future and deliver significant and enduring impact. SIS finance is affordable, flexible and tailored to an organisation’s needs and because we don’t have any loan application forms, we really value the opportunity to have face to face contact with people. We’ve found that the best way to help make our customer’s ambitions a reality is by starting with a conversation.
Joanne is also keen to starting delivering surgeries at CEO for those interested in exploring social investment. She and Derek will also be tapping into their CEO expertise, networks and resources to support creative organisations they already work with.
