Jake Stewart

Public Sector

Jake has worked with artists as an exhibitions programmer since the 1980s and was part of the team that established the Seagate Gallery and Printmakers’ Workshop. He has managed gallery spaces and public art works across Scotland, commissioning and managing exhibitions from contemporary international artists such as Calum Colvin and David Mach.

In his role as Exhibitions Officer, Jake established and curated the graduate prize at DJCAD - helping early career artists to create new works and their first exhibition. He has worked on projects for Poorboy and National Theatre of Scotland Workshop - creating site specific installations for performance.
