Alice Dansey-Wright

Illustration 

Alice has developed an entrepreneurial, diverse approach to her work and is passionate about the many applications of illustration as both a tool and an art form in itself. Her work includes developing products for retailers, visual moderation for events and community projects, large scale murals and public art works, drawings and graphics for computer games, educational and editorial illustrations, branding and marketing for businesses and a range of private commissions.

Alice’s previous clients include Tramway, Creative Edinburgh and Emergents Creatives. Her expertise includes visual moderation and public projects, project management, art and design crossover, and approaches to diversifying and monetising your practice.

Ciara Phillips

Visual Arts

Ciara is a Canadian/Irish artist based in Glasgow. She has worked in various capacities as an artist and educator. Ciara has exhibited widely with recent exhibitions taking place in Stockholm, Berlin and New York. She develops new work in her studio in Glasgow and at Glasgow Print Studio where she works primarily through the process of screen printing.

Ciara was nominated for the Turner Prize for an exhibition in 2013 at The Showroom in London where she set up a temporary screen printing studio in the gallery.  She worked collaboratively with artists, designers and local community groups over a period of two months to produce new artworks. This, and other similar exhibitions, draw upon her long-standing interest in collaborative working which developed through her teaching and work with other artists.

Clare Robertson

Community Arts 

Clare began her working life in the West Midlands with Sandwell and Walsall Councils. Originally from the West of Scotland, it was here that Clare began to establish a fundamental understanding of the transformative power of arts and cultural development work within a community context. Previously a cultural development officer with Glasgow City Council , she has since worked for the 1999 Festival of Architecture and within the voluntary sector with the Scottish Academy of Asian Arts.

Clare set up Clare Robertson Creative in 1997 and has worked as a consultant and freelance creative practitioner for Pan African Arts Scotland, Maryhill Integration Network and Paragon Ensemble. Clare currently works part time with Glasgow Life.
