Biography

Malcolm has over 20 years’ experience in devising exhibitions, seminars and events. He is the Director of Street Level Photoworks, a leading photography arts organisation that provides artists and the public with a range of opportunities to make and engage with photography. He co-ordinates a programme which embraces different genres of photography, which is extended through a network of local and community venues, regional art galleries, and through national and international partners.

Street Level supports emerging photographers by organising portfolio review events; take part in Futureproof, the annual showcase of graduating photo talent; have partnered in the Jill Todd Photo Award in 2013/14; and are working in association with The New Photographers Guild in a mentored photography programme preparing recent graduates for professional life beyond education.
